European Sign Federation

As president of ESF I have been informed by one of our partners about a post on Facebook regarding a so called ESF initiative to approach the european commission in relation to brightness of illuminated or light emitting signs. As I am not into social media I was surprised to hear about this suggestion, because it does not reflect content of our meetings. We discuss about brightness of signs and work towards common guidelines but we are aware of the big differences among the various regions and countries in europe and the mindsets of their authorities. We will work with our members and partners to compile a proposition that we hope can convince authorities of the need for a general agreement.
